Edwin Posadas, MD

Dr. Spiotto specializes in treating patients with head and neck cancer. Dr. Spiotto's current research is focused on identifying novel genes involved in the development and spread of head and neck cancers (HSNCC). In addition, he is developing unique systems to screen for compound that may target these genes in HNSCC. He hopes that these findings may be translated into new prognostic or therapeutic targets in the clinic.

His research has been published in journals such as the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Immunity, Nature Medicine and Cancer Research.

Dr. Spiotto completed his medical degree from the University of Chicago, followed by an internship at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a residency in Radiation Oncology at Stanford University.
